Tullawalla. The Booklet Series Of Poems.

I’ve finished self printing the third booklet in my series of my latest poems. “Tullawalla. The Waves Say Goodbye. Poems By Ivor Steven”.  I’ve actually printed them off my own computer, for me to sell to family, friends and to all my plumbing clients that I happen to do a job for, haha, the booklet is part of my Client’s Account. All proceeds I directly donate to the Geelong MS Charity Shop. The previous two Booklets are, Tullawalla, and Tullawalla. A Sign Of The Times.  The total amount of money I’ve raised over the years is well over $500 , and it’s a race to the magic $1000 before the end of the year !!

G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

  1. fantastic Ivor, so proud of your achievement here, to compose the words, to organise them, then the photographs and even the printing, these are real gems, reminds me of the days of printing painstakingly one sheet at a time and waiting for ink to dry, such a labour of love, I am sure the recipients will love the contents. and for such a worthy cause too!

    1. Quite time consuming but an enjoyable task and it appeases my soul. They’re only leaflet type plastic folders, with 40 poems in each one. The overall presentation is ok, with one poem per page.

    1. I forgot to mention my second one which I completed for The Christmas season, and I was so busy then. So overall there’s 120 poems and I’m 10 poems into my next one. 😊 ❤️
