Gone, a day, weeks, years
Gone, sailing by, lonely nights
Gone, sailing by, the good times
Gone, the years of a life-time
What’s the difference between desire and passion
What’s the chance of finding one in billion
There’s millions in the oceans of the world
There’s thousands of beats to every new heart
What’s the difference between love and pain
What’s the chance of falling in love again
There’s millions of stars in the Milky-Way
There’s hundreds of dreams about love yesterday
What’s the difference between the sea and the sky
What’s the chance of sharing the horizon in July
There’s no answers to your questions
There’s months’ of wonders in the four seasons
Whats the difference the calm and the storm
What’s the chance of being forever warm
There’s dozens of lies before the truth
There were two lives’ under your roof
Gone, a day, weeks, years
Gone, sailing by, your soft nights
Gone, sailing by, the good times
Gone, the years of your lifetime

You’ve done it again haven’t you? As usual another heartfelt one that ‘Gets you right there’ though I almost feel as though I should be writing that list of answers! Thank you Ivor 🙂

I don’t think there is any answers. Maybe we just take our chances and enjoy the experiences that gives us, as we sail on by 😊xx

Well Ivor I was once told “ You’ve got an answer for everything haven’t you!”

The hubby used that phrase so often Ivor that I’m sure he must have been right!

Well Ivor, I always believe I’m right and now you will have realised that I really do have an answer to everything and sometimes Hubby knew what he was talking about!

I’m happy you took your time, and like a lot of my poems, I’ve many questions through life, but I’m still yet to know the answers, and maybe there isn’t any answers to life and love, except just take your chances, and enjoy the millions of experiences along the way

you write the questions with such wistfulness Ivor. I don’t have answers, just thoughts and feelings and they change as days go by, nothing seems to be a constant even when we so want it to be. hope you been having some good days too.

There’s always good days, and life shall keep sailing by, and that’s the answer, jump on the tall ship and go with the flow of the tides and waves … Thank you Gina…. be kind to yourself.
