My Collection

I’m laying here in my hospital bed, waiting for my next scan/test, I’ve been fasting for a while now. So I’m playing a YouTube collection here on my phone, through my headphones, and I thought I might as well share these personal selections with you, I hope you enjoy “My Collection” this morning, or whatever time it maybe wherever you are β€οΈπŸ˜†

G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

  1. Good Morning Ivor and good afternoon for your time of day.
I’m on a catch-up today, had a hectic busy day of visitors and things to do yesterday and missed so many posts.

I like the sound of going home, you must be delighted. Try and stay there this time and take it easy. Hope all goes well or has gone well with your tests. πŸ™‚

    1. Oh, I’m not very confident about going home. The scans I had today, were again not conclusive, so another CT scan on a aorta valve that seems to have some Plaque on it. πŸ€”πŸ™„Again feeling frustrated.

      1. Oh dear! I can understand your apprehension about going home, I think I would feel the same. Fingers crossed that the test results give you less to worry about. πŸ™‚

      2. Oh, your poems are never crappy! If they were there’d be a special book called Crappy Poems. Now that’s an idea I could write some too! Seriously Ivor, your poems are loved by many, never doubt that. πŸ™‚
