G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer.
I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

Once again pressing Like seems wrong. John had a good innings and well done to him. Ninety five is a good age to achieve. I am saddened for your loss , but don’t grieve for too long , rejoice and give thanks for his life and for the joy he brought and know that that you too gave him pleasure. Goodnight Ivor.
that original post is delightful and it’s fitting that you give him a tribute here … but he would want to see you get well and stay around to write more moving poems π
Sorry for you loss Ivor. To lose a friend is the greatest of all losses. Losing old friends is one of the most painful of the changes in all that piling up of a multitude of small distasteful changes that constitutes growing older. Hugs my friend. π’
