G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer.
I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

I love love love the simplicity of the drawing. And the freshness and simplicity of your words enjoying the carrot. Now I want a carrot. But we have 6 inches of snow and I am content to enjoy the carrot through your words. π

I think it topped out at over 7 inches. I like snow so it doesn’t bother me. At least not until tomorrow when I have to drive in it for work!

I used to grow a lot of vegies, but now I’ve got a small courtyard, but still enjoying little bit of greenery x

My Graham used to grow a lot of veg, after he died I hadnβt a clue what heβd planted, I had to wait for everything to grow to find out, but I watered and fed regularly and reaped the benefit in the summer. I enjoyed it.
