G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer.
I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

It will be wonderful when itβs finished, my long driveway used to be like that full of water filled potholes and in those days we walked straight into the kitchen, what a relief when the tarmac arrived.
Yes it will be wonderful, I’ve finished doing my floor, wow, they get dirty so quickly, and wet coming again tomorrow, humbug…. but it will finished, another few weeks…..
Definitely not posh, but I am top of the hill, overlooking the city and the Corio bay, although I’d stand on the roof to get the view… No climbing ladders these days π !!
Oh, how wonderful to see the progress! And then to be able to enjoy the completed lane soon! π
HUGS!!! π
PS….Did your wallet become a mudball!?!?! π π
