Lodestone Clouds

I see a little blink, in her golden eye

As the purple nebula shades her sky

I feel her aloha clouds pulsate

As I step into her open gate

I need to caress her crystal tears

As her misty showers melt my fears

I gently glide onto her waiting throne

As her glowing lodestones entice me home

G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

    1. Oh Eugenia, your wonderful comments have made my day.
My poems don’t always go so well, it’s just that the last few weeks I’ve been on a roll with my words, and my emotions have been on a high. I know I’ve written some nice pieces…
But my creativity will level out soon xxπŸ˜ŠπŸ€”πŸ˜”
