G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer.
I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

Hopefully, that pounding drum along with the knots in your head will begin to fade away and loosen up very soon. π
I’m tiring quickly tonight Sue… I’m not able to stay at the computer for very long. I’m just doing a little bit, in between my big breaks…… I’ll after my next rest I’ll finish your prompt…. Xx
Oh Sue, I love participating, I love writing, and despite my ongoing problems over this troubled year for me, I know it’s important for me to stay as active as I can, ππππ
hopefully, the waterlogged boots will be replaced with comfortable dancing shoes…and the drumming in your head will cease soon.
prayers for your health, Ivor.
i whispered my comment so very very quietly and here are some soft gentle (((HUGS))) π

Yes, a good analogy….. although the pain is in my head, … the boots feel heavy and waterlogged, and you can’t function properly….
