G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer.
I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

Ivor, you really touch my heart with your verses. Beautiful. Sending you a big hug.
Thank you Gabriela…. my hearts been deeply touched by this….he was the son (30’s) of dear friend,… part of a group of Carole’s girlfriends, who come around and would take my Carole, for a girls night out, on a regular basis…. to give me a break…… Me and group still meet up for lunch on a regular basis……
I beautiful poem and tribute to the young man who passed. Yes the moon with all her motherly and feminine energies craddles the the young man soul, a shining star who returned to the heavens so young.
I join my tears with yours, Ivor, and so many other people’s tears.
A beautiful tribute of photo, poem, and song. So sad.
But, one day we will all be up there shining with him.
(((HUGS)))
If you are able…please pass along our love and sympathies to this precious family.
My parent’s lost a child too soon and I saw their great pain. 😦
My oldest sister died of cancer leaving her 4 children and I saw their great pain. 😦
I shall definitely pass on your sympathies to the family…… It’s going to be hard, he is the second son to have been taken tragically….. Clayton was killed in car crash… when he was on the home after seeing his new-born baby..((Whoops crying…))…..

Thank you.
That is so sad…too sad. 😦 No parent should have to endure that kind of pain and loss. 😦
I will keep them in my thoughts and prayers.
