G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer.
I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

Another one of those dreams Sue…. my Doctor, physiotherapist, and exercise manager are always reminding me …to not climb ladders…. so here I scaling ladders in my dreams…… going higher and higher…..
In so many areas of your life, you are climbing to new heights! I’m so proud of you, Ivor!
And through your words, character, friendship, etc., you help and encourage us to keep climbing, too! We must not let the world discourage us.
HUGS!!! 🙂
Ha! as one of 8 kids in the family, my Dad and Mom sometimes called us by the wrong names. But I always knew when they were talking to me. 😀 I thought of getting all of us kids shirts with our names on the front and back! Ha!!!! 😀
Ooh, this is different, but I like it a lot. 🙂
