Good Morning Sunshine

After two days of wind and rain

Here is morning sunshine again

Blueness dances across the sky

“Flowers sip on light”, through moist eyes

Nature blazes into my ambient day

And dazzles my souls’ causeway

These words; “Flowers sip on light”, was borrowed from Robert Okaji’s inspiring poem “A Step Closer”… read his poem via this link > https://robertokaji.com/2020/04/05/a-step-closer-3/

G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

    1. Oh Carolyn you spoil me, although in these times
I’ve no where else to flee
Yes Carolyn I’m loving the Strumbella’s….
I’m happy you like my little drawing, it was my portrait of the morning sun, as I sat under my verandah having a cuppa πŸŒžπŸ€—
