An Old Plumber, An Ex-Carer, An Amateur Poet, Words From The Heart
Our World, Air For Us All
I posted this poem yesterday evening, I’m republishing today, without the ‘Links/Pingbacks’…Β and I’m adding another old ‘Bee Gees’ song “Words”, which seems to be appropriate for my poem here, which basically, is only ‘words’ from my pondering thoughts.
G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer.
I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

We fight each other for limited resources, only thinking of our, selves, without realizing, that if we share the wealth, then, everyone gets some, and we would, get along, much, better compared to now…
Regardless of what they tell us to do we all share the same air with or without the masks. We all share the same Earth too and we have to remember this, so many believe everything is just for them and nobody else. The BeeGees long time favourite and their song 1967 was way ahead of its time. These groups had good foresight
I wrote my poem, and as usual I look for a suitable song. Then I remembered this song, and I this version with the lyrics… oh wow… so profound, from 53 years ago… πππ
Perfect photo, poem, and song trio, Ivor! such an important message!
Sharing is always the way to go. π π π
Oh, I bet Barry Gibb could write the tunes to turn your amazing poems into songs!

I’ve always loved the Bee Gees, too! π
I always wished I’d seen them in concert before Maurice died.
