Breathe Me In

Love continues to climb

Within the shadows of time

Beyond the bizarre

Of who we are

We ask. “What happened Judas?”

As we search for the lost truths

In here, and out there

But the truth lives everywhere

Truth is in the air

And love lives there

In the air everywhere

Enough air for every being

Enough love for all to breathe in

G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

  1. I always click on the song/vid and let it play while I look at your photo and read your poem.
This combo brought some tears. Such a beautiful combo of Sia’s song and your poem, Ivor.
This past year with all of the sadness, I’ve had times I’ve had to remind myself to breath.
I’m so grateful to still be on the earth! I have so much to thankful for! I so appreciate nature! I so so SO appreciate my family, my friends, my neighbors!
Ivor, I wish you and all of your friends and readers much love!

    1. Thank you Carolyn .. and lots of love and best wishes to your family…. My poem is me pondering about life, and how wonderous our existence is… our existence of being here…. that we have air and love to breathe…. our existence is a wondrous miracle Carolyn…. Life is as simple as that…. air and love are our invisible miracles… 💜💙💚💛🧡❤🌏🌎
