We trash our planet

With disdain and dirty tears

No matter who rule’s

G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

  1. I think incremental progress is being made in the US. We have rejoined the climate accords and may discontinue the new lease of federal lands for oil drilling. We need to do a lot more, so I think your haiku is quite accurate. Take care, Ivor! ❀

  2. So true. So sad. This is a powerful haiku, Ivor. Your words need to be heard.

    1. WE are not doing our planet any favours… every little bit helps… I joined up with “United By Blue”, when I was in Philadelphia 2 years ago, and purchased a few items at the “United Blue” Cafe and shop, near the Ben Franklin Bridge..
