Today here is another poem, that didn’t make the final list, and was ‘cut’ from my new Book “Tullawalla”… “Soundless” is a relatively recent poem that I wrote in August 2019, and one of those dreamy poems I do every now and then…

Soundless

My dying dusk is falling out of bounds

Evening clouds are not making a sound

I cannot hear her moon shadows hit the ground

And I see the silent night being slowly drowned

Then my midnight queen arises to be crowned

A Goddess of Light, and I am spellbound

G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

    1. Oh Ingrid… beyond me at the moment …. I’m living on adrenaline flow … and that will stop when my book is launched…. I’ll need a long break, to reignite my dwindling kindling…
