Tullawalla’s” Running Stitch

Who is responsible for breaking my spinning top

The cogs of a Noble Press have suddenly stopped

Some say the wheel paused on a computer glitch

Others heard a dying mouse squeal like a witch

My niece saw a kangaroo jump on the ink switch

I have been told the illustrations are the hitch

That has been the organization’s weekly pitch

It’s time they fixed the son-of-a- bitch

And rewound “Tullawalla’s” running stitch

Because here in Geelong I have developed a nervous twitch

G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

      1. You shouldn’t feel embarrassed, these things are sent to try us. None of it is your fault, and I imagine some very well known authors have experienced those very same problems.

All will be well – I know it 🙂❤️
