And hopefully the paperback version will be available soon….

My garden door is open

Come on in and say hello

There is always a spare deck chair

My courtyard is full of fresh air

We can sip on lemon tea out of my stoneware

Listen to the bees and butterflies fanfare

And together, dream of birds and oceans

My book, Tullawalla, is open

Come on in, you are welcome

G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

    1. Yeah … the book has taken a while, but really I am please with overall asthetic appearence of the book … I’m afraid there is still a couple of errors .. that my publisher’s were supposed to fix ….. so it’s not quite perfect, but still excellent…. ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Ž

    1. Hi Carolyn … I just finished my exercise group, and now taking lunch out to Barbs place … we haven’t caught up since the pandemic, Barb was one of Carole’s ‘bestie’ carers, and we have remained friends since then…
