Today I am presenting a poem, that didn’t make the final list, and was ‘cut’ from my new Book “Tullawalla”… Although I am not sure why I did not include “Haven’t Seen You for a While” in the book. ‘The poem was one that I placed in Carole’s funeral pamphlet’ (9 years ago)….

Woke up dreaming of your petite smile
And pondering, I haven’t seen you for a while

I have masked again due to the many cases in Florida, most of them the Delta variant. We are having some breakthrough cases. Many of the sick are children too young for the vaccine, and our governor still is banning a mask mandate in schools! Our ICUs are overflowing. Florida is like a group of lemmings on their way to drown in the sea! Yes, we are all sick of the pandemic!
