Yet again the “reblog button” did not work for me today, so I have copied and pasted my article here from my “Go Dog Go Cafe” post, and you may visit there by clicking on this link >> http://godoggocafe.com/2021/10/15/throwback-friday-river-of-destiny-by-ivor-steven/”
I wrote the original version of this poem back in December 2017, and here I am presenting a revised edition that I wrote today
River Of Destiny (Revised)
I am going to see a lady of Wizardry
In the grey house of mystery
Over the bridge, strong and earthy
To find my path to bravery
Not to be judged lightly
But to be cured internally
I do bow to a Queen, so ghostly
In the castle of stone, so empty
On the edge of the Red Sea
To find my way eventually
Not to be forlorn and angry
But to face friends and foe calmly
Searching for life’s secret duty
In the distant Abbey, so eerie
Beyond the boundaries, down along the valley
To find my river of destiny
Not to be trialed for my insanity
But to be unveiled for my humanity
Ivor Steven (c) October 2021
Deep thoughts again , Ivor 🙂
And I’m sorry to hear you are still having problems with the reblog. Is the problem theirs, or yours?
May I suggest you don’t use the WordPress App on sites you have problems with. Try accessing the sites directly, by going online or using a different browser. 🙂

Thank you Sue for your help … I think the problem is with their site .. today I used a different browser, and had to ‘log in’ to WP again, but it still didn’t work … no great worry, just a little bit of extra work for me Sue .. I appreciate your advice …😉😍

Has anyone reported it to WordPress? Recently an engineer told me that half the problems aren’t reported and if they don’t know they’re happening then they don’t get fixed. That said, weekends are a bad time unless you don’t mind waiting for a reply

Nicely done Ivor. Sometimes we need help to get rid of those internal struggles so we can function once again!

Thank you Gina .. It’s a difficult subject, and an awkward task for me to get the right words … but I think my revised piece is nearing the scenario I’m trying to explain ..

‘Not to be trialed for my insanity
But to be unveiled for my humanity’
– I wish this for you, and for me too! Sometimes I feel insane, but I think it’s just from caring too much…

Thank you Carolyn ..and lovely words have further enhanced my happy and exciting day …
Oh … on Wednesday at our Geelong Writers Luncheon we had a special guest, and she was from Doncaster in South Yorkshire. She has recently moved to Geelong, and she is a Professor, ‘Liz Monument’ writes fiction, and edits & coaches writing … and I rang her this morning to ask her for some help with my manuscript “Tullawalla” for submission to a new publiser here in Australia … anyhow without further ado, I sent her my Manuscript PDF, and she’ll be getting back to me tomorrow … I had just finished re-editing my book … and there she was sitting opposite me at the Luncheon… like a literary ‘angel’ had been sent to Ivor !! … sometimes things are just meant to be … and I’m quite excited that my project is again back on track … here is a link to her website >> https://www.lizmonument.com/home

Yesss .. . I’ve been struggling with anxieties about my book … I know it’s a good product/manuscript, but it’s about restarting myself to re-present my manuscript to publishers .. It’s a long tough process Carolyn … I was nearly going to give up on it … but I managed to jump a few “Fences” in the last couple of weeks, and meeting “Liz” instilled me with some energy to keep the ship sailing …((Hugs)) always for ongoing support and encouragement ..😍🌏
