Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang!!

He shot all the children down

Sandpits fill with blood

Bullets again pierced our hearts

Rightful laws still can’t be found

G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

    1. I know Ingrid … and that is the sadest thing of all … greed, money, and power , are placed in front of their children’s welfare … hmmm … just the same as Putin … !!

  11. So sad & heartbreaking…but sadly, this will just be another incident…gun business won’t be affected…laws won’t change…people will forget with time…families would remember forever…

        I’ve no idea where their ultimatum of gun ownership arises from … but if you live by the gun you will surely die by the gun! or at least your children are likely to ..
