G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer.
I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

Aw…so so SO sad. π¦ π’
Powerful poem paired with Derrick’s photo! You two make a good team!
And that song always gets me right in the heart.
“Looking for something We can rely on There’s gotta be something better out there…”

A wonderfully powerful song that is even more poignant in todayβs βwar-zoneβ .. Iβm not sure how many collaborations me and Derrick have done. β¦ I showed my publisher our βPerceptionsβ booklet, and she said the concept was excellent and she wants to help me produce a glossy photo/poem book π .. yep .. my next book has now STARTED π€πππβοΈ
Thank you Dale. .. me and Derrick have done many such collaborations over the years β¦ with the help of my editor/ publisher friend here in Geelong I am going to produce a glossy photo/poem book π and maybe have it in print for Christmas ..
Yeah .. I produced a PDF booklet of 20 such collaborations last year using my computer .. would you like a copy β¦ hereβs my email address steveivo@outlook.com
Those poor children. Stolen from their families, tortured, sexually abused and then murdered by the catholic church. The children in ukraine, children everywhere. Horrible what humans do.
So beautiful and sad

YAY! How cool! π Such a book would make a wonderful “coffee table” book. I would definitely inspire conversations! π
