A big thank you to Dale, for who I wrote a 16 word poem/comment on her site

which later on, inspired to me to create this poem and music/video combination.

Will the Doves Ever Be Free?
Sunday morning
The bells are petitioning
For more than a Kingβs Ransom
Sundayβs doves are loudly singing
Their unceasing
And unfinished Anthem
Beyond Sundayβs unanswered sessions
The bells will not stop resounding
The Chimes of Freedom
Ivor Steven (c) November 2022
Loved listening to the Anthem. Thanks for sharing.

What a powerful and wonderful trio…photo, writing, and music! The stanzas and the music flowed so well together. I got a bit teary-eyed.

How sweet the taste of freedom and peace?
What better ways to depict it than with a dove.
Beautifully written Ivor! π
And a wonderful accompaniment too.

I always wonder how you always get the perfect song for your poem. It’s a gift, and it’s a beautiful gift to have and know how to use.
