We Lost the “A” Side (a Senryu)

There, on the “B”side

Of her undiagnosed moon

Lay my empty spoon

G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

  2. Just Lovely Ivor, as are Derrick’s images of the moon. They go perfectly with your poem.

I’ve just been talking to Derrick and he said you’d used the images for your poem.
Just so you know, none of us are able to access his posts on our readers, it’s not just you.
It might be another week or two before we are able to see his posts via the reader. But there is good news – the galleries are now fixed and we can scroll and enlarge.

      1. He usually posts during our evening, but I often wait until our breakfast time so that I read other comments.

For three months while we worked together on his blog I saw all the images before anyone else. I miss that.
