Words of Mine

I’ve given you all, my humble words

I’ve given you, my hidden soul

Words trickling, through cool mountain streams

Words dripping off the frozen ashen trees

Words gliding across the icy lakes

Words of love, drowning in the memory rains

I’ve given you all, my inner self

I’ve given you, my outer grief

Words Tumbling over the embedded rocks

Words twisting along the winding rivers

Words cascading down the forest waterways

Words sifting through my empty hands

I’ve given you all, my lonely heart

I’ve given you, my secret loves

Words of life, living under the vast oceans

Words of time, travelling to the stars beyond

Words flowing through happiness, and sorrow

Words of mine, falling dreams of tomorrow

Pegasus is Flying North

I have withdrawn my Tullawalla booklets from the MS shop

Management was not prepared to display them in a suitable spot

Their lack of support for my years of devotion came as a shock

They say “Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth”

Old steads galloped out heading deep south

Then a Pegasus came trotting in from the north

My new position at the Coffee House Writers is a glorious gift

And I face another adventurous climb beyond unknown cliffs

They say “I have thrown myself onto to floor of an open lift”

But hopefully they will pick me up and set my full sail adrift
